San Diego/Imperial County Regional Home Care Council
Use this area to tell your customers about your business services and how they can
enlist your services.
Explain what services your company offers, the benefits, features, pricing and the
target audience. Include customer testimonials, success stories, and other graphics or
charts that demonstrate why your services are relevant to prospective customers.
PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES:
A) To promote the expansion of quality homecare; to foster high standards of practice in homecare; to
initiate, sponsor, promote, and implement plans, policies, and activities which may include networking,
research, educational programs, and workshops in the field of homecare; to engage in any activities
appropriate to the accomplishment of the foregoing objectives; to make services available without
discrimination as to race, color, creed, or national origin; to interpret the objectives of homecare
services and programs under State and Federal laws; and to collaborate with all interested parties
involved in homecare services and programs.
B) To engage in vigorous representation of members at all levels of government, as deemed appropriate
by the membership.
C) To establish, publish, and support acceptance of the Council Policy Statements at all levels of
government
BENEFITS: As a member of the Regional Council, the following benefits are available:

· Public relations activities designed to increase public awareness and reflect a positive image of
the homecare industry
· Educational programs and workshops in the field of homecare
· Quality management activities, including benchmarking, standards of care development, and
regulatory experiences
· Interaction with elected officials and grassroots advocacy
· Voting privileges for local offices and all other benefits as stated in our Mission and Purpose
· Affiliation with the California Association for Health Services at Home (CAHSAH)
MEMBERSHIP: Each provider type in this category shall be eligible for participation in Section
meetings and activities. Criteria for Section status shall be determined by policy established by the
Regional Council by-laws.
1) Medicare-Certified Home Health Providers
2) Licensed Home Health Providers
3) Hospice Providers
4) Homecare Aide Providers
5) Affiliate Professional Services
Members are encouraged to participate in Section meetings which are usually held on
alternating months following the Regional Council general meeting. These meetings provide
an opportunity for networking and exchange of information.
